Nina Ligon is a multidisciplinary artist, writer and cultural mentor whose work spans spoken word, vocal, stage performance and community-centered engagement. With over two decades of creative practice, her work explores identity, resilience and personal transformation through storytelling and performance.
An Air Force veteran formerly stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia, Nina’s early career as a creative entrepreneur was shaped by immersion in the arts communities throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic down to Atlanta. These influences continue to inform her dynamic, audience-centered approach as both performer, event host and moderator.

Her literary and performance work is grounded in lived experience and invites participants into spaces of reflection, truth-telling and creative reclamation.
As an event host and benefit fundraiser, Nina brings her performance expertise into philanthropic spaces as an auctioneer and fundraising consultant, supporting mission-driven organizations.
Nina currently resides in Washington, D.C. where she serves as Director of Culture for Eaton DC and as a member of the Recording Academy.
