Is Jazz & Blossoms really free?
Yes. Admission is completely free. All concerts, activities and experiences are free to attend. RSVP to receive updates and the full lineup delivered to your inbox.
Do I need a ticket if it’s free?
Yes — reserving free concert tickets helps us plan capacity and keeps you informed about artist announcements and event updates.
Can I come and go throughout the day?
Absolutely. This is an open, outdoor festival. Drop in between brunch and dinner, stay for a set, or spend the afternoon. It’s designed to be flexible.
Is this event family-friendly?
Yes. Jazz & Blossoms is an all-ages outdoor celebration with music, lawn games and interactive activities for kids and adults alike.
Will there be food or vendors on site?
Yes. In addition to the free concert and activities, there will be a limited selection of local food and shop vendors on site with items available for purchase.
You’re also welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Can I bring food and drinks to Jazz & Blossoms?
Bringing your own food and non-alcoholic beverages is strongly suggested. Pack a picnic and make an afternoon of it.
Can I bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair?
Yes. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Franklin Park has open green space, so bring what you need to get comfortable.
Where is Jazz & Blossoms 2026 located?
Jazz & Blossoms takes place at Franklin Park in downtown Washington, DC as part of the Washington DC Cherry Blossom Festival 2026.
What’s the best way to get to Jazz & Blossoms?
Franklin Park is easily accessible by Metro, bus and ride share. We recommend public transportation or ride share, especially during Cherry Blossom Festival weekend when parking in downtown Washington, DC can be limited.
Metro Directions:
Take the Blue, Orange, or Silver Line to McPherson Square. Use the Vermont Avenue or 14th Street exits to reach Franklin Park, which is bounded by K St NW, 13th St NW, I St NW, and 14th St NW.

What kind of music can I expect?
Live jazz music, a hip hop concert and high-energy DJ sets from national and local artists. The full concert lineup will be announced soon.
What happens if it rains?
This is an outdoor event. It will occur rain or shine.

Will COVID-19 safety precautions be taken and enforced at the WBL Fest?
We follow the regulations set by the District of Columbia and the state of MD, which do not require wearing masks while attending indoor or outdoor events. Anyone wishing to wear a mask while attending is welcome to take the precautions they desire to avoid any possible health risks.
