Nick Johnson is a Washington, D.C. based restorative justice practitioner, community builder and educator originally from Philadelphia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Human Communications from Shippensburg University and a Master’s degree in Global Studies and International Relations from Northeastern University. He is the founder of Culturally Rooted Reformations, a reparative justice–based organization advancing community-led research, ecological restoration, and civic engagement grounded in ancestral knowledge and collective care. Nick is dedicated to youth leadership, action civics, and political education, using storytelling, dialogue, and cultural practice as tools for healing, accountability, and collective liberation.
