Mark Lawrence - Member

Mark Lawrence is a “Big 4” firm-bred visionary leader and innovator who is passionate about the enabling power of innovation and entrepreneurship to create new industries and new opportunities that directly impacts lives. He is currently the founder of Inncuvate which is an entrepreneurship-led economic development platform that specializes in creating purpose-built places and programs that cultivate collaboration between entrepreneurs, corporations, higher education institutions, community development organizations, and government.  

Mark works directly with entrepreneurs and entrepreneur support organizations to merge, ideation, invention, incubation, commercialization, and collaboration into local innovation centers that transforms communities where they are located. He believes the right combination of programming, partnership, and community participation will anchor a new kind of economic development engine in underserved and underrepresented communities. 

During his previous work at Big 4 management consulting firms Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton, Mark was responsible for business development. He built and led consulting teams that directly provided trusted advisory services to public and private sector CIOs and CTOs. Mark started his career in telecommunications where he planned, provisioned, operated, and designed national voice and data networks.

Mark is an investor, advisor, and active part of management teams of a couple of the region’s most promising high growth startups. He is also a mentor for a number of entrepreneur development organizations.
