Let's talk about college campus life and how to avoid the pitfalls of Freshman year. Freshman year in college can be one of the most memorable years of your life, but don't get distracted.
What is College Material?
College Material is a part of our Academy, a free after-school arts education program for kids ages 12-22. Our College Material program connects our Academy Apprentices with a College Material coach for collaborative and one-on-one individualized coaching that provides our apprentices with the resources, skill sets, and support to achieve their goals. Our College Material program allows our Academy Apprentices to reach beyond the classroom and seek to create a link between the artistic elements of hip-hop and higher education. In addition, the program simultaneously develops meaningful intergenerational relationships rooted in a common love for hip-hop culture.
