Elaine Kennedy - Treasurer

Elaine joins Words, Beats & Life, as a board member with 15+ years experience in strategy and business development for local and global non-profits.  She has facilitated and led strategic planning for a wide range of non-profits including DC-based youth services, visual arts centers, and global STEM based organizations.  As a board member for a healthcare non-profit, she managed DEI efforts for board development and assisted with succession planning.  Prior to running her consulting firm, Diventa Consulting, Elaine managed strategy development and channel partnerships at Fannie Mae and launched strategic business development initiatives for a growing tech company. In her new role, Elaine is most excited about growing relationships and expanding performance opportunities for Words, Beats, & Life.
