Intikana is an award-winning multimedia content creator and passionate storyteller. Through hip-hop music and documentary film, he seeks to create artistic works that illustrate real-life experiences while addressing social issues. As a professional musician, Intikana has released six albums, one mixtape, and guest-featured on dozens of projects. With nearly two decades in the music industry, Intikana has recorded with Dead Prez, Abiodun Oyewole (The Last Poets), Keith Murray, Chris Rivers, Dinco D (Leaders of The New School) and several Grammy award-winners. On stage, Intikana has opened for artists such as Immortal Technique, Styles P, Jay Electronica, Raekwon, Talib Kweli and Saul Williams.

As an independent artist, Intikana has toured his music and films in over 100 cities throughout 12 countries across four continents. He is recipient of the BRIO (Bronx Recognizes Its Own) Award in Performing Arts and his live performances have been quoted in The Daily News, Time Out NY and The Village Voice. Intikana has been featured on VH1, BET, Shade 45's Sway In The Morning, MSNBC, Univision and BBC World Radio. As an arts educational specialist, Intikana has over 15 years of experience teaching at universities and public schools (K-12). He has partnered with Google, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Scholastic, Urban Word NYC and DreamYard, mentoring urban youth in NYC and beyond. He has presented at hundreds of established venues as well as community centers, group homes, shelters, youth jails and prison facilities.
