Well, to be a boss, you have to be able do what most won't do.

Understand the next steps to take after a failure or accomplishment. Find new avenues to evolve and express yourself.

Our Like A Boss program focuses on four key priorities that help Apprentices obtain the tools and networking skills they need to pursue a post-secondary education, chart their own path towards entrepreneurship and employment, and make connections between art and potential career/education routes associated with the Creative Economy. The students in the program reach above and beyond in their achievements. From excelling and becoming leaders in school to using their creative minds to better their communities. Our Apprentices are innovative young people who see the value in education as both artists and scholars. They strive for a disciplined work ethic that is grounded in the values and creativity of Hip-Hop. Like a Boss exists to help our students self-actualize through the arts. They come to us to learn more about who they are, what they love and what they are good at. Students obtain guidance to be able to become advocates for themselves in any setting. Our Appercentice will obtain knowledge in Arts Administration, Presenting and Producing, Research and Teaching, Financial Planning, and Marketing which will allow them to be able pursue a career they see fit for themselves.   We believe that the entirety of human innovation and history is their birthright and it is their responsibility to use their knowledge and experiences to transform themselves and their communities.
