Alternative Spring Break is just what it says - an alternate way for students to spend their Spring Break.  The Words Beats and Life Alternative Spring Break: Business of Art experience focuses on providing DMV youth the opportunity to explore and experience the creative communities of DC, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York.  

Our past experiences have involved trips to recording studios, art galleries, comic book stores, silk screening museums, theaters, artists owned gallery spaces, and more.  But this year we are doing a few things differently. We are bringing the communities to YOU!
