The hosts of ARTdustry speak with American Hip Hop Artist Awon. Born Antwan Wiggins, Awon was born in Brooklyn, New York but calls Newport News, Virginia home. In 2014, he and producer Phoniks founded Don’t Sleep Records, where they have released several projects. Awon has shared the stage with notable Hip Hop acts like Little Brother, Common, EPMD, MC Lyte, and Oddisee.
