Martha’s Table, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping at-risk children, youth families and individuals with education, food and clothing has an opportunity for a Program Manager for one of its Satellite Programs. The satellite program at Shaw at Garnet Patterson is a program where Martha’s Table provides homework assistance, tutoring, creative academic enrichment activities and preparation for standardized tests to 7th, 8th and 9th graders.
In conjunction with the Director, the Program Manager devises the day to day planning and program operations of the after school program. The Program Manager facilitates and maintains a safe and healthy physical environment for the children enrolled as specified in contractual agreements. The Program Manager directly supervises the program staff, facilitates curriculum, conducts community outreach/projects, works cooperatively with parents and acts as a professional resource in promoting Martha’s Table educational/developmental programs and overall corporate. The Program Manager also works to maintain a positive working relationship with key personnel at the school where the program is housed as well as ensuring program compliance with key program funding sources.
The successful candidate should have a B.A. degree in child development or elementary education or B.A. degree in a comparable field. With 15 credits in education with 1 year of administrative experience will be highly desirable. A.A. or CDA will be considered with 3 years of administrative experience. ESL experience and knowledge of accreditation processed preferred, but not required
