We would like to invite you to join the “WBL. Journal Patron Council.” This is an exciting and exclusive group of arts, academic, and literary support­ers from around the world. Our goal is for the “Council” to have between 10 and 15 members at any given time. With minimally 15 members, the WBL Journal can continue to be an “advertisement” free publica­tion dedicated to elevating the study, preservation and criticism of hip-hop culture. Each member of the “Jour­nal Patron Council” will contribute between $500 and $1,000 to meet the journal’s annual production cost. In return, you will be listed on the Patrons List in the Journal, receive a WBL t-shirt, receive a two-year sub­scription and a “Words Beats & Life” silver lapel pin. Membership requires not only a financial contribution but a willingness to promote the work of WBL within your network of friends and colleagues.
